How sweet are these Pink Lemonade Minis ?

We did them in my studio in Waynesville, NC - just a short drive from Lake Junaluska and about 30 minutes from Asheville. She may be my most photographed client in this studio, actually.

& how cute is that lemonade stand (still proud of myself for making it).

Her Osh Kosh lemon shorttalls were a paid actor.

Fresh finger stirred lemonade, anyone? Mom was "full." Weird.

If you book a session you'll get a fresh batch of lemonade (and if you have REALLY little kids - we can fill this up with pink tissue paper and pretend). Those lemon slices are fake, PS - so it was easy to play with them and not worry about lemon juice in their eyes.

The finger stirring had us cracking up.

The little lemon slice thing was a fun find from Michael's and ended up entertaining her for a long time.

Seriously. It was so cute watching her "make" us lemonade.

Fresh lemons? Absolutely.

I really hope when people are googling things like, "Best Family Photographer in Asheville," (which I have won twice in my career thanks to WNC Parent Magazine) or "Family Pictures in Asheville," or "Family Pictures in Waynesville," this summer that these pictures pull up for them - because sitting in the studio with her playing with lemonade was a nice way to spend a hot day.

Where is the studio? It's at my house ! Technically, behind it and connected to our back deck. We live near Lake Junaluska in Waynesville, NC - so plan a trip to see us. If you aren't a fan of pink, I also have a blue backdrop and we can swap out the pink lemonade for yellow if that's your preference (and do clear cups instead of these shades). I just love pink.

There's a Dolly Parton mural in Asheville that I am going to have to talk Lauren into taking her pictures in front of one day because... that hair.

I had a hard time deciding on summer minis with this heat wave and landed on these as one of the options I'll "always" offer at my studio - they are a great way to beat the heat wave. & for those of you with little boys who don't love pink or little girls who prefer blue, we can swap out the pink backdrop for the blue backdrop and pink lemonade for old fashioned lemonade. Every session gets a fresh batch.

Minis in studio (for the remainder of 2024 for sure) are $250 (due at booking), last 30 minutes, and include 15 images with the option to purchase additional images for $5 each. If you're wondering how many photos happen in 30 minutes this gallery had 141 for her mama to sort through (oops).

A quick and honest note: I appreciate anyone & everyone who does and who has continued to recommend me to their friends for family photography in Asheville, Waynesville, and the surrounding areas. 2024 has been a weird year for us (and for so many others in my industry) - and I can use all of the recommendations possible for the rest of the year. Truly. I'm still very open [transparency for the win, right?] for the rest of summer, fall and winter this year. & would love to have sessions and weddings added to my calendar to keep this business going and my family supported.
